Bloomberg Access - Setting up and learning Bloomberg - Basics - Season 2015 & 16

posted Sep 21, 2015, 1:57 AM by Research Challenge India   [ updated Sep 21, 2015, 1:58 AM ]
This year as well, Bloomberg L.P. has offered to support the CFA Institute India Research Challenge. They are offering free access to the schools that do not have the advantage of their own Bloomberg terminals on campus. They have offered access for 4 weeks, a period for which their normal clients pay $2090. Over the years, Bloomberg access was a tremendous support to the participating teams. It not only raised the standard of the India competition, but also enabled teams to reach the global finals. Bloomberg has tools that support the entire institute as a complete finance education infrastructure and wish for the access they provide to be utilized completely.

As such they require that the terminal be installed on a machine (Desktop or Laptop) that the entire institute has access to 24x7.

Joel Pannikot, (Asia-Pacific Education Strategy, Bloomberg) and his team would like to
meet with the heads of the institutes, librarians and with as many faculty members as possible, to ensure that everyone is aware of the tools that are available to them on Bloomberg. Please ensure that the meetings are set up so that you can then receive access to Bloomberg.

Make sure you are ready with the terminal. We will convey d
ay & timing
soon for Joel's visit.
